Old Mill Doodles’ F1 Labradoodles are a 50/50 cross between an AKC English Labrador Retriever and an AKC Standard Poodle. The result of crossing two purebred dogs is a hybrid, not to be confused with a mutt or heinz 57. Our goal in breeding this cross is to produce a dog that is less prone to genetic disease, while still retaining the easy going Lab personality that we all love.
F1 Labradoodles will have a wavy low maintenance coat that is at least 70% non-shedding. They will put less hair on your floor, but are not the perfect choice for dog allergy sufferers. We only breed our Labrador Retrievers with Standard Poodles to produce medium size Labradoodles. We offer the sproodles for those families wanting a small dog. As with all the doodles, the labraoodles are very people oriented, adapt well to your lifestyle, and train with amazing ease.
